Meet the CEO

A proud member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, Chad Cottet has served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of S&K Technologies, Inc. (SKT) since January 2018.

As CEO, Mr. Cottet provides vision, guidance, and leadership to the entire SKT enterprise. He oversees all the corporation’s business operations and resources and works closely with the Board of Directors on policy, new company creation, and overall vision of the corporation. He is responsible for establishing and implementing the strategic direction of the company, as well as overall financial performance.

In his first year as CEO, Mr. Cottet redefined the company’s Mission, Vision, and Values, and focused his attention on corporate organization. He organized the enterprise into Business Units comprised of subsidiaries with complementary capabilities to unify the enterprise and best serve our customers. He also centralized corporate functions to ensure efficient and effective support services. The number of SKT subsidiaries has doubled under his leadership, to include additional 8(a) and HUBZone companies, as well as acquisition of a tower, engineering, and point-to-point communications company.

Mr. Cottet has served on several boards, including the Montana Economic Development Advisory Council and is a former board member of S&K Technologies, Inc., including serving 7 years as Chairman. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Management.

Prior to joining SKT, Mr. Cottet worked at DRS Technologies for 16 years, finishing as Director of Operations. During his tenure there he served in multiple leadership roles acquiring critical expertise in business development, contract negotiation, customer support and strategic planning.
